How it works
CareerClear is a governed career-exploration tool. You sign in first, complete a free interest assessment, then browse careers that fit your themes — with clear limits on what the scores mean.
1. Sign in
Create a free account with an email code (or school sign-in when your institution has enabled it). Sign-in keeps your assessment history and lets a counselor or family revisit results with you.
2. Answer interest questions
You rate everyday activities on how much you would enjoy them. Optional values and confidence questions can refine order slightly — they never override a clear interest pattern.
3. See your interest-pattern shortlist
CareerClear maps your answers to interest themes (for example Social, Investigative, Artistic) and ranks careers by personal alignment. Suggestions differ when your theme pattern, secondary themes, or values differ — not by random rotation.
4. Explore pathways with a guide
Open careers to compare routes, subjects, and local notes. Use results in a counseling conversation. Market context is shown separately and never changes personal alignment.
What the scores mean
- Personal alignment — interest fit to careers (plus small, bounded refinements).
- Assessment confidence — how complete and stable your answers look.
- Pathway notes — practical conditions to discuss (education, constraints), not a verdict.
- Market context — local labour notes shown separately; never mixed into personal fit.
CareerClear supports guidance discussion. It does not forecast career success, place students, or approve hiring, admissions, scholarships, or licensing decisions.
